Which plants have you tried recently that you wouldn’t bother with again?

I bought impatiens and lobelia as little plugs - I like the lobelia, it fills out nicely but the impatiens so far are very underwhelming. They’ve stayed small and the flowers are flat and small and meh. And then they wilt and drop off or stick to plant as they die. I wouldn’t bother with little bedding impatiens again. I might try the New Guinea impatiens but not sure if these just doesn’t suit me.

    I bought kalanchoe from supermarkets before. They are said to be very easy to grow but mine was covered by aphids... Have given it up ever since.

    A Stella cherry "compact shrub" which allegedly wouldn't grow above 4-5' and would produce an abundance of fruit from the first year. I've had it for 3 years now and for the 1st time there's fruit on it (a massive total of 3, one of which is very poorly and won't last the month out). Oh, and it's reached 12' high (and still growing) and is bushing out like a barrage balloon casting shade over everything within a 4' radius. Yeah, I know - never trust the blurbs in magazine ads.....

    I have a Stella Cherry too. Both my Cherry trees are a bit underwhelming when they set fruit, birds get to it before I can.

    I thought I could keep Kalenchoe over winter but that was a failed experiment.

    That’s the red flowering strawberries- very pretty, I was tempted. Interesting that you don’t rate it.

    Pretty much all of the seeds of got free with magazines. Not their fault. Mostly mine. 
    Next year,hopefully, I will be able to select plants from garden centres that have been properly grown by professionals.
    I really haven't got the facilities. But tomatoes do well so I can live with that😏
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    This looks a bit like my senetti which has done very well first time trying it.

    Ive always liked the look of camilla  but flowers don’t last long.
