    one of one of those bamboos was waterlogged due to no drainage holes in the pit. That has been rectified now. With the amount of rain we have had, I’ve not watered yet. This week is due to be very warm (at last) so watering? Once a week? Is that too little? Too much?

    Stick your finger about an inch into the soil and see how wet  / dry it is

    I think it needs to be in a pot with more soil,  that ones only half full, they’re big plants, would be better in the garden if you can.

    Oh congratulations - I'm so glad I read this post because I thought they looked beyond redemption in the first photo.  Great result!
