Clematis montana 'Broughton Star' - still no buds

I bought a Clematis montana last year and it flowered well into the autumn. It's in the Pruning Group 1 so I did not prune it back. This year I would have expected to see some signs of life - at the moment there is nothing - no sign of buds or any growth. Does anyone have any experience of this type of Clematis. I have…

According to which supplier you look at, Broughton Star flowers from April through to June. I suspect a wrongly labelled plant
I'm guessing there's a similar flowered clematis that isn't a Montana?
