And a welcome from me too, @Zooter. An interesting and exciting garden you have there!

Hi Elfer & others.. thanks all for the welcome, very kind.

Apartments.. does that hint interestingly that you may be in the US?
An eye for detail! I have moved about and as such have lived in both flats and apartments but never in US. I think it's only in uk that you find flats!

I have a long finger shaped garden, a stream runs all the way down RHS whole length. Here looking down the length of it. And like a finger its in 3 segments..

1st segment (so just on from the knuckle then): my lawn and main bed (& my big success.. a willow!).

The middle finger segment: was bad knotweed patch, so only in a 'cleared' state this midrift area, nettles, hogweeds, brambles badly pervade still.

The end 'fingernail' segment: the ground falls steeply down to stream RHS, cabin spans the slope, just clearing Ive done to this section too.

Im afraid there seems to be a cylinder involved, I have no idea why. Thx zoot

    n the
    you have a beautiful garden!

Hi LG thanks to you too for the welcome. Interesting, well I think it has potential to be as its a sweet spot.. but Im adamant that currently, it is rather pg1 boring with my schoolboy efforts. You'll see what I mean when i show my bed LHS.

That's too kind to say that DhaliaD!

I think I might hold my breath.. & dive in with my 1st ever garden forum Q! On its own thread. I need to find trees section. Thanks all.
