Fun fact: Woodruff used to be dried out and used as a sort of pot-pourri. Ladies would put it in their bedding or lingerie as it was thought to have an aphrodisiac quality to it. It used to be used to flavour drinks too but it turned out to be poisonous so that kind of sucked the fun out of that.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Lady's bedstraw. Also was nice to use in rushes on the floor, so that when trodden on, it would release its sweet smell.

Does it work with fitted carpet? We're all out of rushes. Maybe I could try a DIY Shake n Vac.

You could try an 'non-binary bedstraw-scented' Shake n Vac to bring the freshness back.

I've just noticed you're in Suffolk @LaurenMay ... lucky you, such a lovely county ... I lived most of my life in Suffolk and most of my family are still there, including @WonkyWomble who posts on here.  She's a professional gardener.

@Dovefromabove , yes I am very lucky to live here! I have been in my garden all day today, as it has been sunny ☀️ Our garden is not very big so we have been putting up shelves to cope with all of my succulents, most of which aren't even outside yet! We have also bought a mini greenhouse for my seedlings!

    Oh that’s a shame ... I hope you’re not near @WonkyWomble in Ipswich ... she’s still busy in her garden 😆
