The problem with daisies is that they cause irregular growth by robbing the grass of nitrogen, as in this photo, with grass of different lengths. You need to make a decision, do you want daisies or a photoshop lawn? You can do a patch and paste job by feeding the bad areas with a high nitrogen fertilizer. This will help the grass to compete better with the daisies. A more radical solution is to use a selective weedkiller and water it in. Good luck!

For all those saying no dandelions, I was like that until this year. I’ve softened up on them as I hear they are so good for you, all parts of the plant is edible. I’ve already tried fresh dandelion flower tea. Next will be dry root tea. I don’t have enough leaves to cook so the bunny eats that.

Clover is nitrogen fixing, so if you have a mix of daisies and clover, you should be fine.

@Ilikeplants - the French eat dandelion leaves raw in salad in spring but you do have to blanch them.  That just means putting an upturned pot over them to cut the light so you get pale, yellowy leaves.  Can be bitter so use in a mix of leaves with a good dressing. Good for the liver apparently.

Dandelions definitely part of the Greek dish Horta, we serve them steamed with lots of olive oil and lemon... bitterness worth celebrating.
