I like my daisies but if you want to dig them up you need a daisy grubber, a two pronged tool to get up deep roots. I find it a useful tool for all sorts of things including creeping buttercups.
They come up where they want, now dandelions are another matter,we get s load from neighbours Scruffy garden,that seed Al over my nice alpine beds and driveway and look disgusting, unkempt

I know what you mean! I’m glad it’s just daisies in the lawn which I think I can get use to but I will always remove dandelions.
Fox and cubs are well-behaved in some situations, but not around here. Their flat leaves spread at soil level, stopping anything else from growing and they use their beautiful flowers to lull you into a false sense of security. They're sirens of the lawn weeds. @Fire
