My understanding is that chi or χ is the first letter of the Greek word for Christos or anointed (Χριστός) and was used as a sign by followers of Christianity. Xmas is therefore Christ Mass.
Not a word, but the letters 'DHL'! What is the point of texting me an evening delivery slot, then attempting a delivery in the afternoon when no one was at home! Grrrrrrrr!!!!
