It could be worse: it could be a dry pub. ;)

I always laugh when I remember Del Boy's statement of  "Its a Genuine Fake Rodney"

'The power of accurate observation .... is commonly called cynicism by those that have not got it.

Very unique. If it's unique then it doesn't need qualifying, it is or it isn't.
Exactly.  I find myself shouting at the television when I hear people “qualifying” a superlative.

3 examples : Almost the best, Somewhat unique, Fastest bar none.

Using Off Of sounds clumsy.  Just say Off.

Something that really irritates me is the misuse of Me, Myself and I.

For example “Give it to ME” is correct, but “Give it to Dad and I”.  Why does Me change to I when the subjects are plural ?

    Ditto outside of.
    And park up.
Head up is fine for the Amazon but not an organisation.

Does re-doubling of efforts, much favoured by politicians, mean quadruple?

I look back with fondness on the time when we used to say year after year, now saying year on year is obligatory.

A few overused phrases I have noticed edge into sporting commentaries and conversations include:
‘Clear your lines.’ Why the plural?
      ‘A worldie.’
      ‘Fifer’
‘You played well.’ Kind of you to say so but it was my team, not me.
‘On the bounce’ for in a row
And when it comes to relegation battles there is still a slight possibility you’ll hear a commentator say you’ll need a slide rule to separate the teams.
