    I would follow Marlorena’s earlier advice above and prune hard after flowering this year, then keep all new growth after that to train and fan across the wires/trellis. Once-blooming ramblers are usually pruned lightly just once a year after flowering, although you can lop out any further dead or dying bits in winter/early spring.
