@adamadamant They should start growing as it gets warmer. As long as they didn't dry out overwintering they should be fine. Mine spent the winter in a flimsy plastic covered greenhouse and now in the cold frame and they're showing some growth with the warmer days.
Don't worry too much about how slow they appear, as long as they get lots of sun and feed they will grow and flower promptly. The lack of flowers would be about not getting baked enough or lacking food, they're very hungry plants. Mine did really well because of the heatwave...had to divide them at the end of the season.
Wow beautiful! Do they need staking if grown in partial shade?
I’m planning to grow mine along a very narrow border up against a fence. Not very sunny so that’s why I want to grow a variety where the foliage is interesting even if they don’t flower.
They're very strong by nature so should be no need to stake. Haven't got any experience with growing them in a shady aspect but if you give them tomato fertiliser they should give you some lush foliage. The ones in my two pots are the Mango variant of the Cannova series which are medium sized as didn't want my raised pots to be inundated. Good luck @squirral87k4-WvGwT at least I'm sure you're get a refund by Parker, they have been fine on the customer service even if their product can be spotty quite frequently.
