To me number 5 looks like fake stones but it is personal taste.  I like subtle and natural,  those to me look showy and not to my taste.  I prefer c as it had warm and cool colour stones the warm would complement the brickwork in your home.
But I'm female, hate pink and drowned all my dolls in the farm pond after giving them a sex pistols makeover.  like I say it's personal taste.  Let us know what you go for! 😀

Sad that some men can’t enjoy pink because it’s too ‘girly’, it’s just a less saturated red you know.

To be honest, aggregate just looks like a pile of stones to me.
I'd go with block paving with an interesting pattern. Either one colour or a mixture. You could even pick out your house number in blocks.😉
    In London. Keen but lazy.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's interesting hearing everybody's tastes. Of course depending on what your house colour is. If only I could pass somebody's house of similar colour with gravel down I'd get more of an idea. I can look at somebody's house and tell you if I like the gravel they have or not.

Taken from my neighbours side. Thoughts? I think the house brick colour bleeds into the gravel. Doesn't separate it. Too much grey makes it part of the tarmac.

Take a photo of the space ... print several out on ordinary paper .... trace the shape of the space you want to put the gravel and cut out several pieces of plain white paper  ... get some children's  cheap poster paint and mix some colours to match the possible options ... paint the pieces and superimpose them on the photos.

Or do something similar with photoshop if that's your bag.

Make your choice, deciding why you've made that choice and WRITE DOWN THOSE REASONS, then if you have second thoughts in a day or so you can refer back to why you made that choice.

    Don't they look different wet?
I got a tiny sample of Multi Spar which is second from left. Reds blend in with brick. I fancy Classic Flint which has been discontinued with local firm. So shopping around.

And I thought I was indecisive! FWIW I like the classic flint too.

  • 🤣 it's killing me
  • Well I think I've found the decorative gravel. Canterbury Spar. £6.17 for a 20kg from Travis Perkins. I think they only do these size bags. I've sprinkled water on them as they were dusty. The bits of red match the brick colour, bits of white and grey. Not one solid colour or cream which to my mind doesn't blend in with this colour brick. The photo doesn't do it justice.

    You OK Delski? 🤣
