I'm glad the siphon system is working well for some people here. @JennyJ your system looks fab. I've just added an extension to my hose so that I can water the whole garden from the bathtub.

I just figured out that I can add tomato feed to the bath too, which is a wonderful way to give liquid feed to the garden en masse (roses, perennials, pots and clematis).

It's cheap and cheerful @Fire , but it does the job. I try to remember to move the garden end of the hose during the day so that a different section of garden gets the bathwater each evening. With an additional section of hose attached it will reach any part of my small-ish back garden, or some parts of the side area.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

It sounds like a great set up

For me - with a hose out of a skip and a siphon for a fiver - it's  been fab over many years May to Oct.
