Same as B3, it's a Haws, half Lt, cost around a fiver.Too many seeds and seedlings to spray.Got 12 trays in the conservatory alone, and even now and north facing,it gets really hot.Too difficult to remove, sections to water from the bottom.
Thank you very much. My house isn't designed for seed trays so I bought a heated propagator with lights. Will investigate the Haws watering can - good to support a British company.
I have always watered tiny seedlings by sitting them in a tray of tap water for about 5 minutes. Doesn’t disturb them at all, and gets the water to the roots where it is needed. Works for me 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I do the same. Water from below by sitting them in an outer tray of water, then lift them out and let fully drain. The thing not to do is leave them sitting in an outer tray of water.
When planting seeds I don't cover them with compost but cover them in horticultural grit. This keeps the seeds in place and makes watering much easier.
This is mine. It's Haws. Whatever make you get, make sure theres a rose. This one has a long spout which is great for getting at inaccessible pots in my packed porch PS in your original post I think I misunderstood what you said. I thought you were going to leave them standing in water

That is a really helpful idea. I have grit already ordered so will try that as well as the traditional method with compost. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Really appreciate everyone's advice.
