When the primula has finished flowering and the leaves start to go yellow I usually dig them up, cut them down to a stub, divide them, they come apart easily and replant tucked away somewhere , Then next spring replant where they can be seen
Thanks, I'll monitor it again this year to see if it will stop flowering, if not I'll just dig up and separate
I have a yellow primrose growing by my pond which has not stopped flowering, like yours, even in the snow. Now it is spring it is blooming it's little heart out! I would replant yours and plant up whatever the shrub is that's growing with it and wait and see what it turns out to be!
