    Sorry @Papi Jo I meant I hope your post was meant as a joke about gum trees.
    As Gumtree in the UK is an online selling platform owned by EBay.
    I only mentioned it as I once posted that a strawberry tree, Arbutus,  was a nice tree but the poster replied that she already had planted a bed of strawberries. No offence intended

    @newbie77, I don't have Facebook unfortunately.

    Maybe I will try Gumtree, I have 20 in total. Still got 7 in pots!
    The Gumtree that Ditsy was referring to is an online trading site a bit like Ebay

    https://www.gumtree.com/

    Hope that clears the confusion. 😊

    @Ditsy - where abouts are you in London? If you message me privately I can try and help find somewhere to sell onwards.

    No offence taken, @K67 ;) I only hope the OP does realize that a gum tree hedge is out of the question.

    I don't think they are @Dovefromabove

    @Papi Jo thanks for the concern. I don't have any plans to plant gum trees. :)

    It's got a look of Griselinia about it... But I'm not sure.

    Isn’t that Griselinia Littoralis? Sorry, the picture has gone in upside down again, and no idea why, or how to fix it.

    Yep Greselinia. I'd probably go with privet - yew . It will take quite a while with buxus and ilex crenta, although they do make a fantastic hedge. Yew can take a while to get going , shrubs with smaller leaves make better hedges .
