  • Lovely afternoon in August (finally), enjoying the view, but not looking too closely at the weeds or the need to cutback.....

It's looking good DD and I too, am not looking closely at things that need cutting back.
We've just had our first dry day for ages.

  • Last few weeks have settled into warm sunshine and cool damp evenings so flowers in my new hot bed are a lot more comfortable. Still not had time to weed or cut back properly but I'm pleased with my fleeting views as I dash out to work.
A lot of notes to self about moving things around next year.

I don't know where you find the time or energy DD, they are lovely.

It's so lovely DD. I don't work and my garden doesn't look as good as yours. No idea how you find the time to look after it all when you're working silly hours in the cafe 7 days a week. I've read about the staffing issues you've had this year as well.

Whatever rewards you either decide to give yourself or you end up with - you have more than earned them🙂

That's what I want my new jewel bed to look like when I've finished digging, composting and planting it. Gorgeous.

Fabulous! In two minds whether to be inspired, or just give up now! My last four plant purchases are still in their pots. You really are some sort of Superwoman!
