I accept that SOME do, my mother lived in Port Glasgow for many years, she didn't have a harsh accent at all,  nor did any of her family.

I could do with subtitles sometimes when they interview folk from Glasgow on TV - and I was born here  ;)

I wish they'd take her away permanently  @barry island  :D

I find her very difficult.  :/

She must be a well qualified lady but seems to get the menial jobs and the allotment seems to have taken a back seat.

I do find the whole fairy garden thing a bit odd but I also have a friend in Bristol who does that sort of thing so it's clearly a case of each to their own.   Some of the things she does with house plant displays are odd too but if you don't have a garden I suppose house plants have to be a creative outlet.

Well, as a bloke I can forgive her lack of presenting skills!  ;) but her fashion sense is shocking!
I quite enjoy Beechgrove ..not least the presenting style - it's so wooden and poorly scripted it cheers me up no end!

I agree, & as  @barry island says she must be well qualified or she would not be a senior at the Edinburgh Botanical Gardens. She is not a natural presenter,  it's a different skill entirely.
