    Love that Tulipa turkestanica!

  • I've decided I must try harder to remember (and record) all my plant names. Labels in the ground are just not good enough.

@DOrdogne_Damsel, I keep all my plant labels in alphabetical order in an old shoebox. Works really well for me.

As regular visitors of this forum (and Garden Gallery thread) probably know, I keep a complete list of the plants in my garden, together with cultivation details, photos, etc. A bit OTT, I'll agree and to top it all ;) I have some quizzes for my own use or visitors' enjoyment. You are welcome to try them out at https://www.rezeau.org/wp-garden/en/category/about/quizzes/
    Enjoy!

That was fun @Papi Jo. I did quite well except for plant families, hopeless.

I have an app (LazyGardener) that allows me to have a database of plants with photos and details. Unfortunately, there are not many apps available for this purpose.

Apart from that, I’ve created a map of the garden to know where everything is planted. It’s in pencil, so I just erase when plants die or I move them somewhere else.

I had a go pj but I that's all I'm prepared to say in the matter. Good fun though. Thank you

There must be hundreds of plants in my garden but I like it to surprise me. I prefer to be a referee rather than a controller. Planning goes right against the grain but I can understand the appeal to some gardeners.

@Songbird-1 That’s such a lovely message to wake up to. I’ve glad I’ve taken that screenshot and not of different plants! I’ve bought it in Fibrex when I went there to buy pelargoniums. It’s usually available on their website as well, but it might be worth sending them an email.
