    @AnniD If only my garden had so much colour and order to it! I don't think my fingers are as green as yours. Your garden is a credit to you.  :)

    @Camelliad, they are Helianthus, the majority are "Lemon Queen".  The taller one (also with a photo of a single flower) was sold to me as "Monarch",  but l don't think it is as l believe that has double flowers.

    Went down the garden for a look. Both container and in the ground ones are self -supporting. Is yours getting enough light? If not, the stems might get long and weak 
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • @AnniD thank you - I think I'm going to make some room in the borders and try to track down the tall one! Very inspiring.

    @B3 thank you so much for looking and good guess. It's in full shade and dry shade at that. I like it though so I'll take some cuttings and see where else it might be happy.
