  • You have some gorgeous Hydrangeas Fran,I particular like the second reddish one. What are the yellowy gold roses?
The whole truth is an instrument that can only be played by an expert.

@Valley Gardener Many thanks. The rose is called The Pilgrim.  :)

@Fran IOM My pilgrim rose is more like a creamy yellow in colour.
Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

@Eustace I will check the label again this afternoon when I go to the allotment "garden" which is just across the road. They should be creamy yellow where mine verge on the more orange colour. Have a feeling they started off more of a yellow shade and this is its second flowering.

Well spotted @Eustace! You certainly know your roses! Managed to get to the label and that one is Precious Amber and The Pilgrim is behind it which as you say is creamy yellow. Really they are too close together and when they are in full flower it's almost as though they are the one bush. Many thanks.  :)
  • Thanks @Fran IOM 👍😀

It's a beautiful pond @WonkyWomble. Deserves to be the right way up.  :)
