I gave a load of seedling hellebores away. It will be interesting to see if they flower this year. Always supposing my sister hasn't killed them of course.  Hellebores are supposed to be deer proof. Well they don't eat them, but they don't seem to mind walking all over them.

@Desi_in_London ... the bigger (and more expensive) the amaryllis bulb, the more stems it should have ... but I think 3 is about the limit. @WonkyWomble bought me some really special bulbs 😃

This year I got a bargain bundle of Amaryllis after Christmas and many of them have had 2 flower spikes - Apple Blossom, Hot Pink, Double cherry red, Sumatra and the variety shown here.

And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

Most of my amaryllis have had two spikes this year. The most expensive, biggest bulb, had three.
  • I have decided I adore Crocus, such beautiful colours and markings, and such a welcome sight after a long dark winter. I have made a mental note to self to order many more next autumn.
    Lovely display @Songbird-1
