@Camelliad It’s in full sun, well drained neutral soil. Unfortunately it sprawls quite a bit. The bees really love it though (more than any other penstemons I grow), so I try to overlook its relaxed attitude. (I assumed you referred to Heavenly Blue)
It’s been in flower for about a month. Last year I cut it back in July and it was soon back in flower. So I would say, yes, but this is only the second year I’m growing it.
