It's amazing what a difference just a few days makes. We have had sunshine for two or three days now and an evening stroll around the garden revealed the flowers below, just buds a couple of days ago and only sprouting green tips about a week ago. So cheering to see.

The crocuses I planted last autumn are starting to bloom. The white ones are Crocus chrysanthus 'Cream Beauty’ and the yellow ones are Crocus chrysanthus 'Fuscotinctus'.
Crocus are a lovely flower aren't they, such beautiful and varied markings. So great to see after a long winter. Another sunny day here and more flowers came out. The violets in the grass are looking lovely too (unlike the grass)

I have a hellebore similar to that double, Yviestevie. It probably came from the same place. I have loads of snowdrops at the moment. They kind of spread. there was just a small clump when I came here, then I spread them around and they multiply up each year.
