Afternoon everyone, thank you all for the reassurances about mums eye treatment it does appear to be improving slowly.
LB No need to apologise. Those young Cacti are so sweet and there is plenty of them growing, I’m glad you highlighted where they were though 🧐
PurpleRose That is a difficult room to tackle if it’s a complete change. When we ripped out our kitchen we had a very basic set up in the garage, washing up was done in the garden oh it’s all coming back to me now! But like we all say afterwards it was worth the upheaval 😀
Hazel im glad the letterbox flowers worked so well, how lovely she must have been so delighted to receive those.
SGL it was a very misty murky start here too and cold, now we have rain what a miserable day weather wise, hope OH is benefiting from the Pilates sessions he’s been doing them quite a while now must be good,
RosieBB I’ve heard that a Halogen hob is good to use, have you heard from the delivery company regarding your parcel on Monday?
Early tea tonight so I’m putting my feet up now, getting comfortable for the evening.

Aww, what a horrible day weather wise. Thick fog this morning and then from eleven onwards its absolutely poured down 😣😣 The fog is appearing in the field again and I can only partially  see the the first part of the back garden. Well I don't think we'll be able to cut the rest of the grass for quite awhile, it was raining so hard today, it'll be like a bog again.
Have been watching In the Line  of Duty this afternoon, to refresh our minds for the latest series, when it starts in a few weeks time.
Glad your mum is improving @Chivetalking
  • Chive I’ve heard from the delivery co and thankfully received the item today, thank you.  Have a relaxing evening.  I had an early tea.  I think I’ll. e having an early night, it’s catching up with me.

Evening all. What a day of pottering about! Too cold to garden but no rain thankfully unlike poor you SGL. Got some jumpers into Lily's TV. Filled a charity bag with stuff to be picked up tomorrow. Got the bins filled and I have no idea where the time went.
RosieBB my sister has a halogen cooker but the gadget of hers that I really covert is her induction hob - absolutely brilliant! I really want one. I hope that you get a better night's sleep tonight. PR, I'm still smiling over the builders who bricked up the wrong door! I am signing out for today so I'll see all you lovely people tomorrow.
Good night everyone via Carols Country Sunshine on Facebook Good night greetings Good night blessings Good night

Evening everyone. Sorry for being AWOL again but we've come up to Yorkshire to spend a few days with MIL. The anniversary of FIL's death is in 4 weeks & she's spending a lot of time thinking about all the shenanigans happening this time last year so we're a little concerned about her being on her own at the moment. Going home tomorrow.

Purplerose - a complete rebuild / overhaul of our kitchen took about 3 weeks in total (main delay was because they had to replaster the whole room & ceiling which took a week to dry). It was a huge upheaval but the original kitchen was old, falling to bits and very poorly designed. From the moment we could start to use just bits of it I forgot about all the hassle and disruption. Best thing we ever did - and I absolutely love my induction hob. Would not even consider going back to gas - much cleaner and far more controllable.

Chive - I hope your mum is ok. Hopefully her eyesight will continue to improve in the coming days.

@Songbird-1 do you mind me asking which company you used for the letterbox flowers? You too @Ladybird4 ? Might like to look at both of them for sending flowers to MIL to cheer her up in the coming weeks.

    Hello to one and all.
On the morning When earlier In winter - Good Morning Quotes Images Wishes Facebook
Good to see you T'Bird. The two companies I use most often are Bloom & Wild and Next - other suppliers are available. I've just retrieved one of my bins - refuse collectors were very early this morning - and it is quite pleasant out side. Its so nice having these lighter mornings too.
T'Bird, I cannot believe where that year has gone. It must have been so nice for your MIL to have you around. Have a safe journey home today.
