@Yviestevie yes it’s Highdown such a good nursery and delicious food too. We are lucky with a wide selection of nurseries nearby but that was my favourite. Pleased to hear your family is feeling better, doesn’t matter how old they get does it? You always worry. Hope they continue to improve.Â
Hi everyone, goodness where did the morning go! Have done a few unmentionables and also had a couple of phone calls from friends. And that's the morning gone 😉🤣 @Yviestevie hope you hear from first born and that son in law is feeling better too. Debs, so sad that the nursery centre had closed down. Still raining here, looks very chilly outside. Hope all with snow are safe and warm. @Chivetalking thank you, had a good night's sleep 🤗 The Pandas are cute LB. How is your scarf coming along. @Rubee have you made any more crochet squares. @Songbird-1 sorry you had a bad nights sleep, have a restful day. Goodness just noticed we are on page 98, that went quick ðŸ¤
Hi all, had a busy morning. Found a lot of canvas pictures I have bought over the years, mostly photos of animals and I have put them on Facebook marketplace free for anyone to collect. 2 have already been taken. Gives me a happy feeling knowing they will be hung up and enjoyed by someone rather than stored getting dusty.Â
LB I love the delightful video of the pandas playing in the snow🙂.  Hazel a blanket of snow everywhere this morning, quite deep.  I’ve just been out to close the gate.  Looks lovely though.  Hazel also, those poor people working for the Arcadia group, an umbrella of stores owned by Phillip Green.  The high street is changing.  Enjoy your daffodils .  Lily are you walking today, sometimes we need a saunter.  Chive enjoy your time with your bubble.  I hope it’s a good day for everyone.  Debs it is sad about your favourite nursery closing.  Take care underfoot.

Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Afternoon all - after a wet and drizzly start we now have double figure temps and lots of sun. Lovely. Far too wet to be working in the garden though - puddles everywhere!
SM run this morning and OH came with me so he could have a wander round town while I did the shopping. He commented on how many empty shops (ie shops with no stock) there were. Goodness knows what the high street will look like this time next year....
Sorry to hear about your favourite nursery Debs. Fingers crossed they might reopen if this is more to do with legal wrangles than lack of sales.
The video clip of the pandas was very cheering LB. Next door's cat came in for a stroke and a cuddle yesterday. Animals are very good for keeping you grounded.
Hope Chey is OK. Have been thinking about him and the problems he's having with his flat. It would be nice if his care worker could help him sort things out or find him a better place to live.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hugs for your daughter Hazel, it's a horrible situation to be in but you have to think of the anmal which your daughter obviously did. I took my dog when I was a teenager and it was awful.
Just heard from a friend that Capt Tom has passed away. RIP
Hello there T'Bird, its been dreadful here today. I do agree with you about our high streets though. It is shocking to see the demise of high street names we have grown up with over the years.
Oh Hazel, you suspected that didn't you? I'm sure that your daughter will have given him the very best of lives and the kindest of goodbyes. It is DREADFUL and I'm so sorry for her - at this time it must be particularly difficult.
