  • Morning everyone,
Rain and howling wind kept waking me up last night. Still a bit breezy this morning and still heavy rain too. Won't be go for a walk today.
Ruby glad  your arm isn't too painful. I'm hoping OH gets his vaccine soon because of being vunerable, but he comes after the 70+ age bracket. And I'm in a lower bracket than that, so probably March.......unless I'm allowed to have it because I look after him......but I don't think that's the case 🤷‍♀️
Debs good news about your uncle and his OH. Hope the journey to work isn't too bad and you don't get too wet.
LB, I can't believe it's a year ago already that Joyce died. Pretty flowers and lovely colour.

I wonder how our other RES friends are who are in the quiet corner. Thinking of you all.

Wednesday again already, OH's  zoom Pilates day.
Take care everyone, the wind is picking up again. Think it's a day to stay in and keep cosy if you possibly can.
  • Ooh hi Hazel, you weren't there just now.

Lily , if you look on the Carers Uk site and look for carers and the corona  jab , you will find some information that could be useful to you .
  • Hello all

I am just on my break at the moment so just popping on. Hope that you are all ok.

It is absolutely pouring down with rain here. We have been lucky though so far as I have seen some pictures of flooding on the news and also there are a lot of flood warnings in place. Such a worrying time for householders and businesses.

Wishing you all a good day 😁

Afternoon all,  I'm sitting here watching the news and celebrating the demise of Trump with a kit kat and a cuppa.  It's a horrible day outside and I'm glad I don't have to go out in it.
Spending the weekend recovering from Nanna Duty and preparing for Monday and Tuesday when I have to do it all again.   Gabriel's pre-school is closed as some of the staff have tested positive for Covid.  He hadn't been there, due to Chicken Spots as he calls it, for over a week and the boys have both been tested again so I know I'm OK.
Had a delivery of some lovely sale items from Debenhams this morning.  A Regatta coat and some fleeces that were absolute bargains.
@debs64 hope your job is OK, not a good time to have extra worries.
Glad to hear about those recovering from Covid.
Hope everyone stays dry and safe.

Afernoon PurpleRose. It hasn't stopped raining here for 24 hours. Yvie, I'll feel even happier when he is tried by the senate. It would be great if he was prevented from ever standing for public office again. I only have 6 more rows to do on my scarf and then its finished.
