I just hope that it will cause a split in the SNP vote, to lessen the chance of a split in the Union.
How can you lie there and think of England

That certainly is an ugly looking spud, @B3.

Split the SNP vote? Let’s hope so.

  • Walked into the greenhouse this morning to go and do the next lot of seeds to find all my pots everywhere.
We had a little bit of wind yesterday but clearly enough to destroy my hard work. This is off the back of discovering something had gone in there and eaten all my tomato plants and half my cucumbers last week.Β
Feel like giving up if I'm honest.
Planted tulips out the front last week and something keep digging them up.... huff!

I sowed a load of foxglove seeds from a reputable supplier, nurtered them and planted them out last year.Β  They have grown a treat only to find they are all comfrey which I hate.Β  Now either all my foxgloves have failed over winter and I have suddenly developed loads of comfrey plantsΒ  orΒ  I was given comfrey seeds in the beginning.Β  Either way I am fuming.

I'll be your fume buddy @Yviestevie. I may be an awful cynic, but it's strange that all of the substitutions have been shttty.

I wouldn't mind but I have spent a long time getting rid of comfrey from my garden only to plant the ruddy stuff myself. I've tried to make sure that I have got all the roots out so hope they don't grow back.Β

Can you offer your comfrey plants for sale or for free somewhere? I expect plenty of people want them for the benefits they provide. Great for bees and the compost.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I nearly bought a mixed packet of wildflowers for shade when someone on here kindly told me that one of them was geum urbanum hiding behind a Latin alias. GA is the weed that I spend the most time pulling out and I nearly sowed seeds for it😧
PS predictive text changes it to grim urbanism. Not a bad effort!
