I am pleased that the rules are more relaxed this year, as it allows some of these- I think ! The lemon flower is a very small bud. The ones that have surprised me are the Agapanthus, the white dianthus they have been non stop all year, & the blue lobelia. Several roses are in flower too. Yes 2 pics are houseplants- but papi said !! l
My offering is really pretty poor in comparison ( both in photo taking and variety) --- my cyclamen bizarrely not in flower although the leaves look extremely healthy . Bit odd, but hey ho. I just have a viola of some sort ( unless you tell me its a weed!) , and two hebes , no idea what varieties specifically:
Don't have a smart phone, or any clue how to get photos on here, you will have to take my word. Red rose, Daphne, some NON hardy pelargoniums, even some scented ones out the front that never get taken in, polyanthus, I planted some mauve ones last year, they flowered 3 times! Before these latest rules and tiers, my daughter had a fiddle about with the PC, grandaughters e-mail was attached this parental authority box kept coming up, she had to remove my account start again, lots of "stuff" disappeared, printer no longer "reconises" the PC, think hubby might be able to sort that. She is a software expert but things like VR games. Eventually no; one son on speaker phone talking her through, but not back to where we were.
@Nanny Beach, try this: 1. Click on the symbol that looks like a postcard of a mountain. 2. Click on ‘Choose files’ 3. Click on Photo Library
With luck it will be showing all the photos stored on your computer. Click on the one that you want to show and click on the button that says ‘use’. If nothing happens it is probably because the photo is too big. In that case get a passing 7 year old to show you what to do. They all know about such things.
Enjoyed most of the day in the garden today, cold but sunny and managed to get a few photos whilst gardening - surprised myself with how many are flowers there are.
We cannot find the photo file, after my daughter doing the re-sets. Hubby was convinced she had deleted them all, oldest son said, she would have had to click onto each file, press delete then remove from bin, which she hasnt done of course, so they are there somewhere, for him to hopefully come out and sort after we unlock!!Curren pics arent in a file for the same reason.
Got Arctotis in flower they aren't meant to be anywhere near hardy, carnations and dianthus, I will take some pics see if they can be uploaded at some stage
A very poor show in this garden this winter ... the only flowers out are a couple of Rosa Bonica, a pinkish achillea in the cold frame, Vib. Bodnantense 'Charles Lamont' is smothered with blooms, as are the Clematis cirrhosa 'Freckles' and Sarcococcus confusa There are some little flowers open on several of the Erysimum Apricot Twists and two fat pink Papaver somniferum buds about to burst open by the front door.
Apart from those there are hosts of various hellibores in bud and the snowdrops are just peeking though the leaf litter in the little wilderness, and another glorious clump of Sulphur Tuft fungi in the 'sunny corner' where the second ash tree used to be.
That's my lot this year.
I wonder @nutcutlet will post her count this year ... I hope so ... she usually has an interesting selection
