I meant to put that at least something good came out of the last lockdown and I am hoping that more work can be done in the house and garden this time around.

@Songbird-1 I did try that but nothing happened so just leaving them there. I am not someone who worries about photos of children on a forum like this. Just didn’t want to bore everyone!

    Morning all,

Milder here now and most of the snow has gone. Although Scholes the Snowman is still around (he does look a bit gruesome now though!).

On a day-to-day basis, the 'lockdown' announcement will make no discernible difference to me. I'm working from home so, hopefully, my job will continue to exist. Bizarrely, I think some football will continue so I will be appointed to an occasional game. Other than that, running and gardening are still allowed so bring on the spring ;)

Morning all. Lovely kitchen @debs64 and Maisie looks a cutie. Sorry about the course @Topbird. I was booked on an art course before the first lockdown but it hasn’t happened yet.
Been a bit hectic at Secondborns Jonah managed to miss the loo and soaked the toilet rolls last night which left us a bit of a tricky situation. Luckily dad popped to shops for us.  Gabriel’s coat got left in dad’s car so he’s had to wear Jonahs to pre school. First and Secondborn were up most of the night sorting out stuff for remote learning. They had planned to do it yesterday but had to sort out volunteers etc for testing which was a waste of time because the schools are now closed except for the front line and vulnerable children But the worst thing of all is that there are no biscuits or choc in the house. It’s going to be a long day.

Hello later arrivals. Debs it was joyous to see your pictures so don't worry about them at all. They made me feel very happy seeing them and not bored at all. They are a lovely reminder of how things will eventually be again. The kitchen makeover was well worth the wait Debs - it looks fab.
Hazel, I have been looking through my wool stash and it is worse than I thought. I need to get knitting again and spurred on by Ruby, I've found a free pattern for a scarf on t'internet. Its based on the one Jodie Whittaker wore in Doctor Who - 15 different colours. It is knit sideways on so needs 300 stitches to start. I'm hunting down my circular needles to find the longest one as straight needles are not long enough for 300 stitches! This is a picture of the scarf taken from my laptop.
Looks like it could be a challenge!

Morning Biglad and Yvie, I heard that amateur football was banned Biglad and that only elite sport could continue. Mind you, you may ref elite games, I'm not really sure.
Yvie, that day sounds like one best forgotten!

Morning all - a rather wet and grey one here.

Yvie - sounds as though Jonah was rehearsing last night for when he's 20 years older and has had a few bevvies down the pub 🤣

Yes - I'm a little disappointed about the course but other people have bigger problems. First started trying to get on it in Sept 2019. There was a waiting list for the waiting list(!) for the course running in Jan 2020 but I got a late(ish) cancellation for the one running in April 20. That, of course, was cancelled by the first lockdown. Same course in Sept was fully booked but I managed (way back last July when the centre reopened) to secure this January place.... Repeat ad nauseum.

Will finish taking down the deccies today and have a little clean up. Deccies and log fires seem to make a lot of dust!

Lily silly what a beautiful dog, Bluebell, lovely.  LB lovely to have one, another character, Marco.  Time spent with our pets is precious.  Good message.  Ante I do like yellow and blue in the garden. Debs lovely pictures of Maisie and your kitchen.  Some interesting birds at the sanctuary.  Chive hope all goes well today.  Lily it’s good you slept.  Hazel it’s good to have a hobby.  It’s sunny today and the last of the ice is going.

Hello T'Bird. What a pain about the bookings. Unfortunately that is how the situation is unfolding. As for dekkie demolition, I know that there is some debate as to when 12th night is but my dekkies will be coming down tomorrow.
