Hazel it’s lovely of you to type up mum’s notes. It should be interesting reading. LB that is good news from your nephew. Lily yes it was good to be with mum. I hope you and Hazel sleep well tonight. I’m signing out sleep well. Ps Chive I hope all goes well tomorrow.
Hi all. It's been a freezing cold day with strong winds that seem to chill you to the bone. The bird feeding station has been emptied so l need to restock it in the morning. Ante I'm so saddened to hear of the earthquake in your country, and of the families left homeless. I hope those most in need get help quickly. That is a beautiful hellebore, so pure in colour. LB those little eggs are delicious and moreish. Hazel how lovely to have your Mums notes, and a good idea to translate and put them in order. I have only one example of my parents handwriting, lovely copperplate (?) style they both had. I treasure them. So l am required to work, as it is deemed safe as we only have the key worker and vulnerable children in. My school is quite close to the big hospital so a high proportion of the children have parents who are NHS staff. I'm trying not to worry and stay positive . I just wish they would vaccinate all NHS and all school staff quickly, then we could just do our jobs and not worry. Here's my dog watching Boris, she doesn't look impressed.
Good night Rosie, Hazel and Ante. Sleep well. Lilysilly, your dog is GORGEOUS. Is she a Springer? Years ago we had one. He was as daft as could be. His tail never stopped wagging. His name was Marco.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
LB, she is a Sprocker, Mum a black and white Springer, Dad a black Sport type Spaniel. Her name is Bluebell, because after we'd chosen her we drove home past a bluebell wood in full flower. She's lovely, and has a inquisitive, quirky fun nature who adores tennis balls. She is very waggy, almost to a blur of butt and tail.
Good to see you Ante. So glsd you snd your family are well, but so very sad for the people that have lost their homes and belongings. Pretty Hellebore. Yes Hazel, here we go again. But like you, we dont go anywhere anyway. Thought it strange that Boris mentioned the government letters....OH got his last week. Aww, Lilysilly, your dog is gorgeous 🐾🐾 Yvie, hope Jonah gets better soon and Gabriel is ok too.
Hope everyone sleeps well tonight. Night night, sweet dreams
Ante I hope the homeless as a result of the earthquake get warm accommodation. That is so sad . Hazel it must be lovely reading and typing your mums experiences and thoughts down.Lily silly look after yourself and take care .I love your dog. What is her name?Everyone please look after yourselves . I am signing out goodnight friends.
Evening. Another exciting day - not... Dropped OH at the dentist for a check up and clean while I went to the SM. Easter eggs in W’rose too LB🤨 I was tempted - but didn’t succumb. Don’t suppose the willpower will hold up for long though😁
News is all a bit grim again. I’ve been booked on a course in the Lake District at the end of Jan for ages. Don’t think that’s going to go ahead somehow ☹️
Good news if you can get a SM delivery Chey - pop some treats in your basket.
Chive - I wonder if your work plans will change again with Boris’ announcement tonight although I guess the scholl will still be open for essential worker and vulnerable children, so perhaps not.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

White and yellow are my favorite colours in the garden.
Time to bed. Wish you all a good night and sweet dreams. Hope to see you tomorrow after school.
