With me, it was about 8 hours. Some are slightly sticky and some are bone dry but I got them before they burnt. They're cooled and in the fridge now.
I'm not quite sure what to do with them now but I know you need to put them in olive oil - cooking stuff or posh stuff? I don't know

Extra virgin and maybe add a peeled and sliced clove of garlic to each jar
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

I dry toms until they are crispy and then just store in a jar no oil. they keep for over a year in a old jam jar in a dark place (without oil!) they go really well in bread, crumble them up and mix into the dough after rising and before shaping.

Got to ask what on earth is a warming draw? Or is it some aga special thing.

I only did it to free up freezer space but I will definitely do it again. This time of year, I will chuck the last knockings of a punnet of tomatoes in the freezer  until I have enough.Next year glut - hopefully.
May investigate mushrooms. There's always a few left over.
Shame about cucumber. I never manage to finish them before they go slimy. I'm sure that wouldn't work. Supermarket cucumbers are too long!

It's one of these - a drawer to warm plates and keep food warm and eg warm up cobs. Mine has heating elements in the top, which may be lights of some sort. Have never looked.

There is an onoff switch and a temperature control.

Remember hostess trolleys? Similar but built in like a drawer. Really useful and not too pricey, depending.
