Help something eating my heuchera

Hi,

Please help, I thought slugs wouldn't eat heuchera, but something is eating mine, what is it likely to be, any ideas gratefully received my bronze fennel got completely eaten too and the nepta. Not eaten the rosemary or hellebore or lavender.

    Which bit is being eaten - foliage? 
    Vine weevil eat notches out the leaves, but it's the larvae which do the most damage, as they eat through the roots.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

  • This is the sad state of the fennel that was 2ft tall 
  • It did. That looks totally eaten...not the work of weevils. You may want to post a more general view of the whole plant.

    It's probably slugs or snails I think.

    Bit of slug/snail damage on the heuchera - pretty normal. You can just remove dead or damaged leaves.  It's an ongoing process with them.  :)
    Fennel should be outside - in a sunny spot with free draining soil. It looks dreadfully soggy in that photo, and heavy soil. It really won't like that at all. 
    Nepeta is the same - sun and free draining soil. If they don't have that, and they're too wet, they won't thrive. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
