Morning all. Sorry Hazel, I misunderstood about your Mum's parcel. Hope you do manage to find out what has happened to it. Ante, enjoy your Christmas shopping if you can. It will be nice to see all the city decorations though. Ruby, I can assure you that its Saturday today. I know because I checked on my calender.

  • Good Morning Ante, Rubee & LB and all to follow,
Ante Hope you have a successful Christmas shopping trip today,
Rubee the days all blend in to one sometimes don’t they, we need one of those mugs of tea,
LB if that big green mug could make its way here that would be welcome 😊 hope you have a good day,

  • Morning everyone.
Ruby, I didn't know what day it was either when I woke up. They all seem the same don't they.
Aww, LB I'll join you in a cup of tea please.
Looks very damp and misty out there this morning.
Not sure what we're doing today, if the weather improves, might go for a walk.  Rugby/football probably on tv this afternoon though, so OH will be watching that😉
    Have a lovely day everyone

Morning all. Just been for my flu jab at doctor's surgery. It was very well organised. 1 staff member at main door checking names and asking if you are as well as normal this morning. Walk straight through reception, another staff member directing you to one of the consulting rooms (12 in use all along corridor to the left) doors open, nurse waiting in each room. You stand just inside door, nurse  gives jab. You leave via the fire exit at the end of the corridor. It took me longer to walk to the surgery than it took to have the jab.

Ante enjoy your shopping.  I hope it’s not too cold.  I’ve just had a refreshing shower and washed my hair and watching a programme about Leonardo da Vinci.   It has been bright sunshine shining through my bedroom curtain.  Lily enjoy your walk.  I had a sleep in this morning and skipped breakfast.  LB are you watching the rugby?
  • Glad I went for a walk just before lunch when the sun came out. It's now very cold again. Posted some of the village cards. Will walk round with the rest during the week.
Time for an afternoon cup of tea......and maybe a biscuit 😉

Afties all. I've been putting up my tree today. Not quite finished but will complete it tomorrow. Rosie, there was no rugby on any of the channels I have (I don't have Sky) I would have had it on if it had been available but snooker seems to have taken over at the moment. Ruby, your scarf is fabulous. I really love all those vibrant colours. Just what Winter needs.
