You got some very special items there Ante that just leapt into your trolley. Yes, best have those wellies clean for next year
Rosie, I had Lily's TV on this morning and I had my usual little friend for company whilst I pegged out:
Meet Hoppity, my one legged blackbird who always stays around hoping for food.

Hazel, I'm 99% sure that Hoppity is a she and probably one of this years juveniles because of the markings on her feathers. She has been my constant companion each time I'm in the garden. Very sweet.

Here is the collage. I would have liked to tweak it some more and make it into a Christmassy shape - like a tree, but it would have meant losing some of the details. Anyway, thanks to all those who posted a picture.

Afternoon all,  Had a busy day so far.  Cooked a large stew which we freeze in portions for Jonah and Gabriel.  Also made 3 banana cakes, I'll be sending a couple of them over to Secondborn along with the stew.  I'll be keeping one back as a treat for me and Hubby.
Some lovely work on that collage folks.
    Love the Christmassy candles Ante
Story about 23 was really lovely Hazel.  Jonah informed me he was worried about Santa catching Covid and not being able to come.  I told him that Santa was the first one to be vaccinated and that he would definitly be OK.

  • Afternoon All,
LB The collage looks lovely, such a nice idea to collate all the pictures together it’s very effective. I love the photo of your companion Hoppity she is sweet,
Lily I’m glad you are ok, a cosy afternoon sounds a perfect way to spend a chilly Sunday afternoon,
Yvie Very industrious cooking & baking, quite partial to a banana cake too…ok any cake! 😋 have you managed to resist that chocolate log 😊
Finished decorating our tree no theme just put the lot on there, more the merrier.
Hope you all have a nice evening.
  • Evening Hazel, hope you’re feeling ok the tiredness does catch up with you later on in the day. I’m sure you’ll start to feel a bit more Christmasy now your tree is taking shape.

    Good evening.
Hazel, so sorry to hear that you have a shattered day. Try to sleep tonight. Christmas tree will cheer you up, most definitely.

LB, thank you so much for collage. It's a beautiful memory.

It has been raining whole day. I'm ashamed to admit, but I overslept whole afternoon. Everything for school is prepared and now I'm waiting for pizza and Poirot.

Evening all. Glad you liked your collage. Ante, I'm not surprised that you slept. Your shopping will have tired you out. At least all your school work is done and you can relax and enjoy your meal and TV watching. I'm a happy bunny because England beat France to win the Autumn Nations Cup. Apparently it was a nail biting finish so in one way I was glad I didn't see it live. Hazel, I'll have a look at that Bliss appeal.
