Afties all. 3 and a half hours to go! Oh SGL, I am so envious! What a lovely place you have to take a walk. It would be lovely to scuff through all those autumn leaves. Unfortunately my sun of this morning has become obscured by clouds now but not to worry. I managed to get a hair appointment booked for 16:30 next Monday. I have been looking online each day for the booking page to come up. The hairdressers will be pleased to be able to open again. Rosie, have a good walk with your Dad this afternoon but make sure you are both wrapped up nice and warm. It looked nice here this morning but it was very brrrrrr.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good Afternoon All, quite breezy today, Lily what lovely pictures of the duck pond and woods it looks beautiful and tranquil, a nice walk for you both, LB you’re a good way into the steaming now, just a few more hours. Your little friend Robby what a cheeky chap, he sounds very comfortable with you, Rosie I hope it has stayed bright and sunny out and you are enjoying a lovely walk with dad this afternoon,  Had our first Christmas card arrive  today, have a nice afternoon everyone.Â
Afters all. Came out of work to find clear blue skies and brilliant sunshine. Got home and put the windscreen cover on the car, (I don't want to be scraping the windows at 5 o'clock in the morning ). I place my bets on no frost tonight.Â
Afternoon everyone. SGL, beautiful photos. Love those ducks in the pond.
LB, your pudding will be finished soon. Nice that you got an appointment at hairdresser.
Debs, wonderful biscuits. I'll make a glaze on my honey biscuits and bake meringues.
Just came from attic and all my lights are down now. Must check them tomorrow. Like yesterday, I didn't enjoy walking with dog. It's very cold and windy.
Oooh, yum yum Ante those biscuits look delicious 😋😋
It is a lovely peaceful place to wander or sit and watch the ducks. I really love walking through the woods. We are so very lucky that it's just a few steps away. The little ones love it. And yes LB we do play in the leaves 😉😂
Glad the pudding is nearly finished LB, bet your house ssmells yummy. Rosie hope you had a lovely walk too. Hazel, good that you've finished digging the border, you deserve a well earned rest now. Pauline, that's a very early start, hope it's not too frosty in the morning. Chive, we had our first Christmas card today too.
I might go down to the woods tomorrow and forage some twigs to hang a few Christmas bits from, for the hall.Â
Pauline, that is a very early start and you are right, having to get into a frozen car is no fun. Ante, remember last year - no putting lights up in the wind.
Hazel, well done for getting the border finished. Whistle While You Work has a good rhythm for doing jobs.
Ante, your biscuits look delicious. I could eat one now! I like the little men.
