The mere thought of eating my Christmas meal at 21:00 on the night gives me indigestion.

    Good evening all.
Yes, it's finally weekend. This week was particularly hard. It was an option to go again on online classes. Lucky, we will continue normal till winter break, which will start one week earlier. School year will be prolonged for this one week.
I will not bother you more with school, I promise. I finally bought Christmas cards.
I have now full teapot and time to read back. Hope so that you are all well.

Good evening all. Ante, make sure that you have a good rest this weekend. School can get more and more tense as the students get so excited getting near to their holidays. Will you be baking biscuits for them this term? Hazel, I have some invisble thread which is very similar to a really fine fishing line. I'm hoping it will be just stiff enough to push through those teeny holes and then I can use a needle to pull both ends through Santa's braces to just tie knots to secure them. You will see very soon the finished washing line.

LB Would a needle threader be any help putting your buttons on?

  • LB, invisible thread will be good to just poke through the holes of those little buttons, much easier 🤗 Looking forward to seeing your 'washing line'

It's my OH's birthday tomorrow......or should I say today. 😉 So hoping for a dry day, so we can go for a walk. Having a zoom chat with the family and a meal at home....just the too of us in the evening. And when this crazy time is over we will celebrate all together. As just like everyone else, nobody has been able to celebrate their birthdays properly together this year.

Night night everyone, sleep well and sweet dreams

    Good morning all.
Sorry ladies, I fell asleep very early last night and didn't saw your messages. I'll certainly take your advice and try to have maximal rest this weekend. This afternoon I'm going to cottage.

LB, I'm preparing to bake a lot of biscuits for this upcoming holidays. My students will also get treats. First will be honey biscuits, very similar to gingerbread.

Now I'll have cup of tea and I must write cards.

Morning everyone . Bitterly cold again here . I slept like a log . I hope everyone else did .LB the only thing i can think of for your buttons ,is to poke one end of the the threads through one hole and the other end through the other and the thread both ends together through a large eyed needle sew through your knitting an tie off .
