  • Evening All, been to SM this afternoon much better experience than it was on Friday,
LB No that is not a good nights rest when sleep is broken up, I’d hoped your walk yesterday might have improved things but your brain was still on the go by the sounds of it 🥴 I hope you’ve had a chance to write some more cards today,
Lily I hope your OH’s Pilates went well today and it’s helping him, good idea to have your walk this morning in the sunshine and enjoy the Autumn colours,
Rosie Hope your dad is ok and Alfie is getting better too, good to hear you was enjoying the comfort of your bed this morning sounds lovely 🤗
Yvie Sometimes it’s nice to just while away the day like that, you don’t often get the chance to enjoy much free time,
A greedy pigeon has been scoffing the sunflower hearts from the bird feeder, after I realised the arm of the holder had moved round enough to put it within his reach. I saw him sidling down the top of obelisk which is positioned next to it and he was able to help himself! the poor little birds were just left watching. I put pay to his antics this morning when I swung the feeder away, but he has been back repeatedly to try his luck it’s quite entertaining to watch.
    Have a nice evening everyone.

Afties all. I've been writing cards (mind numbing!) and discovered that I may be short of some. I'll pick some up at 'sco. The weather has been shocking today but I checked the GH earlier and I've taken some geranium cuttings. Fingers crossed they all take as they are such a cheery red.

    Evening.

It’s been a very mild and dry day here - good for hedge planting! All done and dusted - last rabbit guard put on just as it was getting a bit too dark to continue working without a head torch. Certainlyglad I did all the prep work a couple ofmonths ago.

Sorry to hear about your BIL Rosie. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

All this talk of card writing & present wrapping makes me feel vaguely panicky that I’m not more prepared but it’s only mid November so still lots of time yet! 🙂

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Pigeons are great opportunists Chive, and like my Mr and Mrs Ps they just wait for the seeds the little birds toss aside when they land on the ground.
T'Bird, glad to hear that you have got your new beech hedge planted. That will be something beautiful in a few years time.
Rosie, I am looking forward to The Repair Shop tonight. I am completely awed by the skills those artisans have.
