Funnily enough @Rosie.b., exactly the same :) It's turned into a lovely day so I've just ticked the running box. The gardening one will have to wait until I've done some work ;)

Hello Hazel. Sorry you had so much trouble yesterday. Yes indeed - the lights! I had to lie down in a dark room with a wet cloth on my head.

  • Afternoon everyone.
Had SM del this morning and have also managed to book  our slot for xmas week.
Popped out afterwards and got our click and collect from a toyshop. On the bus going there were 3 people including me. I just picked up order and got the next bus back and was the only one on the bus all the way home.
The weather now is beautiful sunshine, the autumn colours are stunning.
Naughty Graham 😉 I like your sofa material too Debs, very nice.
Chive, I don't like Friday 13th either. I didn't realise the date until I was already out. 😕
Hazel, good to see you, weird how sometimes this site plays up.
    Have a lovely afternoon everyone.

Afternoon - a lovely sunny day here too. The Liquid Amber tree in the front garden looks stunning at the moment - every autumnal shade from green to yellow to orange to deep red.🥰

Haven't seen any Christmas lights around here thank goodness - not even too many in the shops. Some dotty woman was on the news at the end of October saying she'd already started putting hers up. Apparently her husband never lets her put them up before bonfire night (!!!!!) but he made an exception this year because things have been so difficult.

Mine go up the week before and come down on the 5th Jan. Christmas cards go up on the 23rd and come down on the 27th - can't be done with them falling over every time the front door is opened.

Hazel - sorry you've had problems with the site. Think it sometimes plays up with specific operating systems on devices.

I always think that there couldn't be a more appropriate name for that gorgeous tree T'Bird.
Hazel, I do hope that your chairs turn up soon.

Lily it’s been bright sunshine this afternoon here too, lovely.  Hazel I hope your chairs wil soon follow.  Topbird your tree sounds gorgeous.
  • Evening everyone, been to the SM this afternoon & boy was it busy. I usually shop early in the week, so I shan’t make that mistake again.
Topbird Your tree sounds beautiful, the colours of Autumn take some beating. Glad your both enjoying the extra insulation from the new windows,
Hazel Shame the new chairs didn’t arrive with the table is it bigger/smaller/different shape or colour?, hope you’re not kept waiting too long for those chairs,
Rosie Thank you we are all keeping well, Nel is delighted now the wood burner is getting used again 😽 I hope Alfie is getting better,
Lily You are doing well with getting out and about for shopping and you’ve got your Christmas delivery slot booked very well organised,
LB What have you been getting up to today? Hope you saw some of this Autumn sunshine instead of the rain,
    Have a nice evening everyone.

Hazel my OH is a little more buoyant . Thank you for asking .
  • Hazel The table sounds a perfect replacement. I have to say the SD could have been better and sadly I saw two different people who had removed their mask while shopping.

I'm signing out for now people. I'm enjoying the Ireland v Wales rugby match. I don't really care who wins as long as its Ireland!
