Wouldn't it just ... but sometimes folk are having a bad day, or maybe sought solace in the cup that cheers ... and then they sometimes forget their manners.
You meet all sorts of folk on a forum ... its best to acquire a thick skin and a sense of proportion. 😉

Perhaps the use of "My dear" and " young man " seem slightly patronising ? Spelling and grammar are not prerequisites but good manners never go amiss. Most people are having a hard time of things these days - however people choose to deal with it is OK if we remain polite and friendly
