@Silver surfer I know what you mean about Lonicera nitida being a bit boring and often used in car parks, etc. We inherited two tiny scruffy ones, which were lost at the back of our garden when we moved here. After some tlc, and lots and lots of pruning, we love them to bits.
As one is slightly smaller than the other (intentionally), we name them after my OH and me. "There's a pigeon on you", is a phrase often said in our house, as they are located below the bird feeder, and the pigeons love them as a landing spot.
