I describe them as supermarket car park shrubs. Cheap, hardy, easy to grow. Hard to kill/Bomb proof and easy to trim if they get too large. But rather boring. Stops public taking short cuts. The flowers are tiny and easily missed., mostly hidden under the branches.. see pic 1.below..... This is Lonicera nitida.
I suspect mystery one is Lonicera nitida Baggensens Gold...in sunshine the leaves are golden/yellow.

Pileata leaves are slightly longer.
