Which terrestrial news channel do you trust the most?

For me, it used to be BBC every time. Now it's Channel 4.
What do you think?

I avoid all of them now apart from our own news on STV.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • In a forced choice for News it would probably be BBC World Service Radio, something with summary broadcasts too short to get opinion inserted, or named specialist  correspondents who's personal brands I know and can evaluate.

For longer form Times Radio is sounding interesting. My former MP is working for them. Not sure yet if they are too metro-centric.

For straight news probably regional newspapers.

I used to read LKs reports until I realised where her loyalties lie. I think that's when the rot set in for me😒

I've noticed that the slant you get on the news you hear/ read very early on a Sunday morning is quite different later in the morning.  I wonder why.

I get all my news from EpicMAGAdoomlord1350 over on YouTube. Seems legit.

But seriously though, Channel 4 on TV and snippets of Radio 4 in the car.

I don't have a TV and never watch TV news - to much BONG for me. Guardian newspaper and FT for me. Used to be also Washington Post and New York Times before they disappeared behind the paywall. The FT is restful and incisive. No yelling.

Fire, what is BONG? The BBC, is the biased broadcasting company. now watch the Meredian news, for local stuff once a day on ITV (3)just to see what is going on locally.

I have always been happy that both the right and the left regard the BBC as prejudiced against them but there seems little doubt that our London-based news organisations are internationalist, multicultural and global in outlook, as well as very city focussed. If that doesn't suit, there aren't many alternatives. However, we are certainly better served than many (most) other countries and the rash of conspiracy theories doing the rounds these days suggests they are more reliable than Facebook.
