Being stuck in the house. Can't play in the garden. How could I be bored with my virtual companions? @pansyface

@pansyface Or to put it another way, things are never so bad that they can't worse.

It's an amazing night outside. Full moon, snow covered hills and clear skies all wrapped up in the silence of the early morning. Too nice to waste on sleep but the children will be awake in a few hours so I better get some rest.

  • A beautiful full moon and glistening frost here too ... hope you got some sleep 😴

B3, normally I check everything I buy to make sure there is no "wool", shop was 2 in 2 out was with a friend, before the latest rules, I did get a very nice poncho thing, with a removable fake fur collar. I get hot soooh quickly, I need to layer up, so I can layer down in a flash, never mind ,it will go back to a charity shop, once they are allowed to open.

Be careful about layering down 'in a flash'.  Many years ago I worked in an office where one woman was well knows for being a bit scatty.  She was feeling hot so decided to remove her jumper, forgetting that she wasn't wearing her normal T shirt beneath.  She didn't realise she was sat there in just her bra until somebody told her!  Another example of her living in a parallel universe was her claiming she had never been in my car.  This was after I had driven her and 2 other colleagues 100 miles each way to attend a course, and having to turn back on the outward trip when she suddenly remembered that she'd left her handbag at home!  None of that stuck in her memory.
  • Ooh @Nanny Beach if you’ve a wool allergy those British Blanket Co. checked throws you’ve got (like my special Christmas present) will give you problems ‘cos they’re pure merino 😲

Youngest woke up at 4 and was quite noisy for a bit then my oldest boy started loudly reading books to his teddies just before 7. They did both go back to sleep for a while after though.
