You're not joking Chive it's a bu**er.  It will be much better when it's done though. The obelisks that the arch will replace can be used in other parts of the garden.  I feel a few rose/clematis purchases coming on.

My heating is on as well Ante. Glad you got the food shopping done. Its far nicer than shopping for clothes. Hope the preparation goes smoothly too. I used to nod off (fall asleep) sometimes when I was doing mine. My Bestie and I used to work together - she was in my Department and we found that was a good way to work.

    Great cartoon LB!

See that our old house in York will come under Tier 2 restrictions from Saturday - glad we’re not still there.

Well done on getting jobs done everyone and glad your new glasses are a hit Rosie.

LB - the bright pink bloom in the photo is a rose. Absolutely covered in flowers from June to August and then just the odd one or two until the frosts. Roserie de l’Haie - gorgeous perfume but prickly as heck - can’t have it all ways🙂
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

T'Bird, I know that rose, its a rugosa rose. I have mainly white ones in my front garden - name escapes me at the moment but it will come round on the brain carousel.
