Yes, however as a Type I practising carb counting for quite a long time I can adjust treatment hour by hour, so I have leeway when I need it - or could have a nana in a meal to slow it down - or in a couple of portions.
I may even do a few measured portions of breakfast porridge for the freezer and use it for two of those. Freezer needs reorganising to make some space, and I still have some more apples to process.
On the post above - the self-denial anti-binge strategy with homemade bread (I love new homemade bread with oodles of butter) is cut into thirds and put 2/3 in freezer pronto. That means that I can't eat lots without planning and time to notice what I am doing.

But as diabetic I tend to be a little restrained on the sugar just for moderation's sake. But the recipe had 120g of butter in a 400g Brioche loaf.
