A picture from earlier in the year, in the summer months these fields brighten up my drive to work.

Lovely @scroggin. I can imagine how uplifting that would be.  :)

I'm looking forward to better days, and better times, so that I can have some great views.

@Fairygirl, one of the benefits of the modern phones is having a camera and photo album with you all the time. In the dreary dark months it lifts the spirit looking at pictures from the spring and summer.

    Indeed  :)
I'm afraid I'm still a troglodyte - I like a proper camera, and as I hate phones with a passion, I only carry one for emergencies  ;)

It just needs a big moon in the sky @B3 :)
    Lovely.
We had a double rainbow for a brief moment yesterday. I posted it elsewhere, but I should do it here too, so I have....

  • Beautiful photos everyone. Such simple images but the colours are wonderful. I went for a lockdown walk yesterday, normally I don't have time. I am desperately searching for positives from this enforced closure of my business. Last evening's walk certainly calmed me down.

  • I have a tearoom in France and we have been forced to close again (3 months last time), now we are looking at at least (& probably longer) a month of being closed once more. I am not looking for sympathy and it's not about the money, but it is so sad to see the place empty. It always normally buzzing with life, we have lots of regulars who use us as a meeting place and we're a bit of a hub for the community (French & English). I took this photo sitting on the empty deck yesterday and I was just overwhelmed with sadness. However, the sunshine and the trees couldn't help but make me smile and try to pull myself together. (sorry long waffle) but felt needed to explain photos. Amazing that a picture can be so poignant.

It doesn't remove the feelings of despair @D0rdogne_Damsel, and you've been a real beacon of positivity and optimism during a hellish time, but if you can find something to lift your spirits, it will hopefully get you through - again.  :)

Your wee coffee pot cover has made me smile. I might have to make one of those!
