What is eating my Cotoneaster berries (and leaving all this mess!)

Hi, weird question, sorry.

We have a lovely mature Cotoneaster that overhangs a small log store and I noticed tonight that it’s covered in poop that is full of the seeds. Looks too big to be from rats, any clues? My friend suggested pigeon but we’ve not seen anything there during the day.

The bush and store have been there for years and it’s not happened before, looks like something’s been at an all you can eat buffet!

I think bird poo would have white bits from the urea (birds don't pee). Apparently hedgehogs are good climbers, but I'm not sure about getting all the way up to the roof of a woodstore.

Hmm.. you need to install an animal camera. I'm curious as to what is leaving those poops. Not birds, for the reasons Fire mentioned. And their poo is just more liquids, that is mammal for sure.

Can a hedgehog climb up onto a shed roof! Foxes can.

Thanks for all the suggestions, the log store is only quite low. Doesn’t look like we had another visit last night, will clear the poop away and see if they come again, although they might’ve eaten all the ones within reach 😁
