  Someone on here suggested I download the app PictureThis. It has helped me identify many plants. It sometimes can't identify the exact species but it's more often than not correct.

  Could be Succisa pratensis...common name devil's-bit or devil's-bit scabious.

  Thank you all, I’ll update when it blooms or changes colour. It’s growing in randomly in a bit of a dry flowerpot.
