Gee Tee bulbs are great - buying in bulk is very much cheaper.
  • Did you order any @strelitzia32 from Boston Bulbs? I have just put in an order for Alliums and Tulips ( Apeldoon, Blueberry Ripple, and a mixed Darwin) 😁

I've ordered a load of bulbs from J Parkers wholesale website, after someone on here recommended it (sorry, can't remember who it was). You don't have to order massive quantities, although for some things I ordered 100, which I may regret when they arrive and I need to find enough pots and compost to plant them. I've had poor bare root plants from them (as in varieties not as labelled, they were healthy enough) but people on here seem happy with them for bulbs, so worth a try.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Gee Tee are good @Fire , but I've also had the wrong bulbs from them. The quality has usually been good though.   :)
I think it largely depends what you want. I don't like mixed bags of things, I like particular bulbs, so I don't tend to look at the bargain outlets.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I've used Gee Tee a lot and always found them good. Good customer services too. They are bulb specialists.

@purplerallim I was going to, but Peter N turned out slightly cheaper for the alliums I wanted, and the Boston bulb minimum quantities of daffodils were insane - 500 bulbs minimum! They really are a bulk supplier :D

I originally had everything in my basket at Crocus, but they kept selling out. So I'm finishing up my order at Peter N and will place it later this week...

    Which alliums did you choose?
  • I got the ones I wanted and each item was for 25 bulbs. @strelitzia32

Just looked at both Peter Nyssen and Bee gee suppliers and niether had  Sicilian Honey Garlic Alliums, or two of the tulips I was looking for. Both would have cost between £2 to £5 more. For something similar.
Omg J Parkers is £20 dearer, and so is crocus!
  • Yes thats the one @AnniD I can never get my mind around its official name 😊 Its such a bee magnet and lasts a little longer than standard alliums
